But none of the offers felt right or valued what we offer. Some wanted to change the designs, others wanted to move production offshore, and overall, the offers didn’t reflect the value of what I’ve built here — or the care that goes into every hankie.… things changed.

💜 Liberty London contacted me directly

They reached out and said they love what I do — even though I’m a very small business — and they would like to supply me directly going forward.
This was unexpected and made me stop and completely rethink everything.

Their pricing is competitive, and the savings from ordering Liberty fabrics directly actually offset the rising costs of other materials and costs.
It means I can keep my hankies at the same price, which is really important to me.

And with a more simplified model, I can manage everything myself without the stress and overwhelm I’ve had this year.

So, instead of closing, I’ve decided to keep Boutique Heidi going, but in a simpler, more sustainable way. A business I can manage myself and not compromise what I have created.

Here’s what will be happening:

• We will relaunch in early 2026

• The new range will be smaller and more curated

• Mainly Liberty classics and special editions

• Some cotton designs, when available

• Same packaging and quality 

• A model that is easier for me to run long-term

• till offer Liberty remnant boxes

For now, I’m clearing out all current stock so I can start fresh in the new year.

I’ll continue working on my book in the background, and this simplified model will allow me to keep doing what I love, in a way that is healthier and more manageable and sustainable.
