I had a wonderful week creating, photographing, and styling our newest Collection -🩷 Just for you 🩷
In the photo to the left, you can see my work in progress: a sea of floral hankies, foliage, and cuttings from my garden surrounded by boxes, ribbons, and hankies. All this production was created on my grandfather's kitchen table; you may see the faded Formica print on the table.
When I was little, I used to think this table was huge. It always had the daily paper and a bowl full of 5 and 10c coins that he gave us to purchase lollies from the local milk bar in the small town he lived in. My brothers and I picked out those lollies individually for 1 or 2 cents each.
However, the best was the sugar bowl... which was the absolute best!!!!! We didn't have sugar in our house growing up (I'm sure Mum hid the sugar for baking somewhere, but I never found it).
Grandpa let us dip our fingers in the sugar when Mum wasn't looking, we thought we were so naughty and lucky!
I hope he replaced the sugar when we left!
